ALABANZA CONCERT 4: SOUNDS OF AFRICA.

For the fourth edition of Alabanza, we heard the “Sounds of Africa” on the 16th of September, 2016. As the theme connotes, the focus of this concert was to showcase and foster unity in Africa. To this end, over twenty (20) artistes ministered. It was an awesome experience.

The event brought together renowned gospel music ministers from all over Africa such as Nigeria’s Enkay, Chiika 100%, Tim Tehila, Chioma Jesus, Lara George, Tim Godfrey, Preye, Bukola Bekes, Enitan Adaba, Dunsin Oyekan, Solomon Lange, Tony Adoki, Sax Tee, Bola Udom and many others. To further spice up the event, South Africa’s Loyiso Bala and Mabongi, Kenya’s Emmy Kosgei and Ghana’s Joe Mettle each took turns setting the place on fire with high praise and worship.

Popular music groups who also participated as follows: RCCG City of David’s Voices in Zion and the Apostles, RCCG City of David Youth Church’s Sound of Heaven and the Psalmists and GCGT Stars. It was an atmosphere of unending singing and dancing to the Lord.

The event had over 10,000 people in attendance as the hall was filled to capacity and with a spill over outside the hall. People from far and near came together to experience an unprecedented night of worship and praise dipped in the African culture. The event held at RCCG, City of David, Oniru, VI, Lagos.

At the end of the event, attendees went home with renewed hopes and fire for the Lord accompanied with a thirst for the next ALABANZA concert.
